Custom stainless steel wet electrostatic precipitator for waste incineration and waste-to-energy plants. Designed for MSW flue gas polishing after bag filter or wet scrubber to remove PM2.5, acid mist, droplets, aerosols, heavy metals and dioxin-bound particles. Vertical or horizontal WESP with stainless steel anode tube modules.
Wet Electrostatic Precipitator (WESP) for Waste Incineration Plants
Our wet electrostatic precipitator for waste incineration plants is a customized WESP system designed for municipal solid waste incineration, waste-to-energy boilers and related flue gas treatment lines. It is typically installed after bag filters, semi-dry/ dry deacidification systems, activated carbon injection units or wet scrubbers to perform terminal deep purification of wet flue gas. The system can effectively remove fine particulate matter, PM2.5, acid mist, water droplets, aerosols, heavy-metal-containing particles and dioxin-adsorbed fly ash, helping waste incineration plants achieve stable ultra-low particulate emission performance.
The equipment adopts high-voltage electrostatic adsorption combined with wet flushing. Fine particles, mist droplets and aerosols are charged in the electric field, captured on the collecting electrode surface, and then washed away by circulating water. This wet cleaning method avoids mechanical rapping and reduces the risk of secondary dust emission, making it especially suitable for high-humidity, corrosive and fluctuating flue gas conditions after wet desulfurization or wet scrubbing in waste incineration plants.
Gas ionization and particle charging: High-voltage DC power generates a strong electric field between the anode tubes and cathode wires, causing gas ionization and particle charging.
Fine particle and mist collection: Charged PM2.5, acid mist, droplets, aerosols and fine fly ash migrate to the collecting electrode and are captured on the electrode surface.
Wet flushing cleaning: The flushing system forms a continuous water film to wash captured pollutants into the drain, preventing ash accumulation and secondary dust.
Terminal polishing after APC system: When arranged after a bag filter, spray tower, wet scrubber or desulfurization system, the WESP further removes residual fine particles, mist droplets, aerosols and condensable pollutants from wet flue gas.
High removal efficiency for fine particles: effectively captures PM2.5, submicron particles, acid mist, droplets and aerosols from waste incineration flue gas.
No secondary dust emission: wet flushing replaces mechanical rapping, improving outlet cleanliness and operational stability.
Strong adaptability to MSW flue gas: suitable for waste incineration exhaust with high moisture, corrosive components and fluctuating working conditions.
Stainless steel anode tube modules: anode modules, shell and internal components can be made from stainless steel or other corrosion-resistant materials according to flue gas properties.
Flexible structural layout: available in vertical or horizontal type, with circular or square shell, and can be integrated with existing bag filters, scrubbers and desulfurization systems.
Customized engineering supply: configured according to actual air volume, temperature, humidity, dust load and emission requirements.
