Product Overview

Our wet electrostatic precipitator for coking plants is a customized WESP system designed for coke oven gas purification, coking flue gas treatment and downstream deep cleaning after desulfurization or washing systems. It can effectively remove tar mist, fine particulate matter, PM2.5, acid mist, water droplets, aerosols and other condensable pollutants from wet flue gas, helping coking plants achieve stable ultra-low emission performance.

The equipment uses high-voltage electrostatic adsorption combined with wet flushing. Pollutants are charged in the electric field, captured on the collecting electrode surface, and then washed away by circulating water. This wet cleaning method avoids mechanical rapping and reduces the risk of secondary dust emission, making it especially suitable for high-humidity, sticky and tar-containing flue gas conditions commonly found in coking processes.

How It Works

• Gas ionization and particle charging: High-voltage DC power generates a strong electric field between the anode tubes and cathode wires, causing gas ionization and particle charging.

• Tar mist and particulate collection: Charged tar mist, dust, acid mist and droplets migrate to the collecting electrode and are captured on the electrode surface.

• Wet flushing cleaning: The flushing system forms a continuous water film to wash captured pollutants into the drain, preventing tar accumulation and secondary dust.

• Deep purification after pretreatment: When arranged after a desulfurization tower, spray tower or gas washing system, the WESP further removes residual fine particles, tar mist, droplets and aerosols from wet flue gas.
