Product Overview

Our wet electrostatic precipitator for wood processing plants is a customized WESP system designed for timber processing, wood-based panel production, furniture manufacturing and biomass-fired boiler exhaust treatment. The equipment adopts high-voltage electrostatic adsorption combined with wet flushing. Fine wood particles, tar mist and aerosols are charged in the electric field, captured on the collecting electrode surface, and then washed away by circulating water. This wet cleaning method avoids mechanical rapping and reduces the risk of secondary dust emission, making it especially suitable for high-humidity, tar-containing and sticky exhaust conditions commonly found in wood drying and biomass combustion processes.

How It Works

• Gas ionization and particle charging: High-voltage DC power generates a strong electric field between the anode tubes and cathode wires, causing gas ionization and particle charging.

• Fine particle and mist collection: Charged wood dust, tar mist, PM2.5, droplets and aerosols migrate to the collecting electrode and are captured on the electrode surface.

• Wet flushing cleaning: The flushing system forms a continuous water film to wash captured pollutants into the drain, preventing tar adhesion, wood dust accumulation and secondary dust.

• Deep polishing after pretreatment: When arranged after a cyclone separator, bag filter, spray tower or scrubber, the WESP further removes residual fine particles, tar mist, droplets and aerosols from wet wood processing exhaust.
