Custom stainless steel wet electrostatic precipitator for ceramic plants. Designed for tunnel kiln, roller kiln and spray drying tower exhaust to remove PM2.5, glaze mist, fluoride mist, acid mist, aerosols and fine particulate matter after wet desulfurization.
Wet Electrostatic Precipitator for Ceramic Plants
Our wet electrostatic precipitator for ceramic plants is a customized WESP system designed for tunnel kiln, roller kiln, spray drying tower and ceramic production exhaust treatment. It can be applied to sintering flue gas, drying exhaust, glazing section exhaust, polishing dust exhaust, and wet flue gas after cyclone separators, bag filters, spray towers, scrubbers or wet desulfurization systems. The equipment is typically installed as a terminal polishing unit to perform deep purification of high-humidity, corrosive and sticky ceramic exhaust. It helps ceramic plants control PM2.5, glaze mist, fluoride mist, acid mist, SO₃ mist, aerosols, water droplets and fine particulate matter, supporting stricter emission compliance and cleaner production.
Ceramic kiln exhaust often contains submicron particles, sticky glaze mist, condensable aerosols and corrosive fluoride components, which are difficult to remove completely by conventional dry dust collectors. The WESP uses high-voltage electrostatic adsorption combined with wet flushing to capture fine mist and particles on the collecting electrode surface, then washes them away with circulating water. This wet cleaning method avoids mechanical rapping, reduces secondary dust emission and helps downstream treatment systems operate more stably.
Gas ionization and particle charging: High-voltage DC power generates a strong electric field between the anode tubes/plates and cathode wires, causing gas ionization and particle charging.
Glaze mist, fluoride mist and aerosol collection: Charged PM2.5, glaze mist, fluoride mist, acid mist, aerosols and fine particles migrate to the collecting electrode and are captured on the electrode surface.
Wet flushing cleaning: The flushing system forms a continuous water film to wash captured pollutants into the drain, preventing glaze buildup, salt crystallization and secondary dust.
Terminal polishing after ceramic pretreatment: When arranged after cyclone separators, bag filters, spray towers, scrubbers or desulfurization systems, the WESP further removes residual fine mist, aerosols and particulate matter from ceramic kiln exhaust.
High removal efficiency for ceramic aerosols: effectively captures PM2.5, submicron particles, glaze mist, fluoride mist, acid mist, droplets and condensable pollutants.
No secondary dust emission: wet flushing replaces mechanical rapping, improving outlet cleanliness and operational stability.
Strong adaptability to sticky glaze mist: suitable for tunnel kiln, roller kiln and glazing exhaust with high moisture, sticky glaze droplets and fluctuating working conditions.
Stainless steel anode modules: anode modules, shell and internal components can be made from stainless steel or other corrosion-resistant materials according to exhaust composition.
Flexible structural layout: available in vertical or horizontal type, with circular or square shell, and can be integrated with existing kiln exhaust, dust removal and desulfurization systems.
Customized engineering supply: configured according to actual air volume, temperature, humidity, glaze/fluoride content, mist load, installation space and emission requirements.

Where is the ceramic plant WESP typically installed?
It is usually installed after cyclone separators, bag filters, spray towers, scrubbers or wet desulfurization systems for terminal deep purification of ceramic kiln exhaust.
What pollutants can it remove?
It mainly removes PM2.5, glaze mist, fluoride mist, acid mist, aerosols, water droplets and fine particulate matter from ceramic production exhaust.
Can it handle sticky glaze mist?
Yes. The wet flushing system washes captured glaze mist away continuously, preventing electrode fouling and maintaining stable operation.
What materials are used?
Anode modules, shell and internal components can be made from stainless steel or other corrosion-resistant materials based on exhaust composition and customer requirements.
Is the equipment available in different structures?
Yes. It can be supplied in vertical or horizontal structure, with circular or square shell, and can be customized according to site conditions.
